Chipmunks is an organisation for boys age 4 - 6 1/2. We meet on a Thursday night from 7.00 - 8.15pm.

Each evening we start with a simple prayer, which the boys learn and we all say together. We then have a time of games e.g. "duck duck goose", "traffic lights", netball etc.; then we do a craft activity most evenings - bird feeders, caterpillar cress, make calendars, Christmas craft, Mother's Day cards etc.

We also learn from God's word; sometimes we do this using the book called 'Your Book of Hope', which tells the story of creation through to Jesus birth and death, using different coloured balloons. On those nights we would do a craft which ties in with the story.

We also have visitors at Chipmunks, quite often we have a story telling night, we've been to the Ambulance station and have had a visit from a local paramedic with his ambulance and the fire brigade.

Occasionally we would join with the Beavers, which would be the next stage for our boys and that's when they would join the scout sections. We've been with them to the cinema, and they had a man visit one night with exotic animals, which the boys enjoyed.

Each year we have a Christmas Party and then end the year with a trip to Monkey Business, The Sweet Factory or a treat of some kind.

Chipmunks are NOT affiliated to The Scout Association, but are a group for the youngest boys, with a natural progression into it's sections.
